Mermaid Studio prioritizes your data privacy. All data—including your project structures, diagram titles, descriptions, and code scripts—is stored entirely inside your browser's local storage (`localStorage`). No diagram data is uploaded to a remote database, server, or cloud storage under our control.

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or database-driven session cookies to monitor your browsing behavior or harvest personal information. The app's configurations (such as dark/light app theme preferences) are stored strictly inside your browser's client-side preferences store.

When exporting diagrams to PNG, SVG, or PDF formats, all calculations, canvas rendering, and downloads are compiled and processed locally in your browser. We do not run server-side render pipelines, ensuring your proprietary system architectures and database schemas remain strictly private.

The Mermaid JS parser loads dynamically in your client-side browser to process syntax rules. The application operates in sandboxed browser scopes, ensuring zero external exposure of your designs.
